“This country was started by people of faith who took a stand, and it will only continue if people of faith take a stand right now.”

Megachurch Pastor Brian Gibson, Leader of Growing Movement, Asks Even More Pastors to Sign NO COMPROMISE Declaration, Affirming The Commitment of Churches Across the Country to Remain Open and Operating at Discretion of Each Pastor Despite Renewed Coronavirus Mandates

(OWENSBORO, KY—July 23, 2020)—Megachurch Pastor Brian Gibson, founder of the movement, is announcing the No Compromise campaign, in which pastors are asked to sign a declaration detailing their rights and agreeing not to close or accept restrictions on their churches.Thousands of churches throughout the US that are already part of the movement will not comply with unconstitutional mandates from governors and mayors to close houses of worship or dictate how congregants can gather and worship. The response comes as officials once again are threatening, or already attempting, to close down churches as part of renewed Coronavirus restrictions.

“When the same politicians who allow unrestricted protests and violence tell churches only 10 people can gather and must not sing, it’s obvious this is a direct attack on the 1st Amendment. We are calling every pastor across this nation to join us in pledging that there will be ‘no compromise’ in allowing government officials to close our places of worship or dictate what our churches can or can’t do. It’s our Constitutional right that no government official has the privilege or power to decide where, when or how we worship,” said Pastor Brian Gibson. “The hypocrisy that a Costco and Walmart can have hundreds of people inside their buildings, but churches can’t be trusted to implement health procedures for their congregations is unfathomable, and we will not stand for it.”

Pastors and their congregations across America are taking part in Peaceably Gather’s “No Compromise” Campaign, signing the petition that they will not abide by unconstitutional and unlawful mandates from elected officials to close churches or dictate how churches conduct their religious services.
